Intro

___ENGLISH___

The Forza Le Mans Series of 2020 will work with the concept of the real life World Endurance Championship. Therefore we will have three vehicle-categories: LMP1, LMP2 and LMGTE.

The LMP2 class will be a cup class and only the GTE field will remain separated into Pro and AM driver championship ratings.

Because there will be three categories this year, some of the tracks that are more narrow had to be replaced. But famous Motorsport locations such as Monza, Sebring and Catalunya will guarantee great action nevertheless.

With the Long Beach Invitational there will be a new addition to our program as it is a 60 minute no-points race reserved for the top 50% of the championship after the regular races. It sure will be a spectacular show.

And for the Grand Finale we will have nothing less than the annual 24h of Le Mans. Here the teams of the FLMS compete together with teams that only race the 24h. These 'single starters' will not influence the FLMS championship standings.

To make the supervision of the abuse of track limits more easy we introduce the Forza Track limits to the FLMS. But stay calm: For every race there will be a given amount of penalty time given by the game which we won't penalize. E.g.: up to 15 seconds penalty time will not be translated into our own penalty system.

The last big change will be the time schedule. Now all sessions will be held on the late Sunday afternoon until the early night with around 4h overall time which includes a 60 minute break between Qualifying and race.

All these changes are promising a great FLMS season of 2020 with lots of action.
